Install ToolMill

Add ToolMill to your home screen or desktop for faster access to private, browser-based tools that keep working after the first load.

Install in Chromium browsers

1. Open ToolMill in Chrome, Edge, Brave, or another Chromium-based browser.
2. Use the browser install button if it appears in the address bar, or open the browser menu and choose Install app.
3. Confirm the install prompt to pin ToolMill like an app.

Install on iPhone or iPad

1. Open ToolMill in Safari.
2. Tap the Share button.
3. Choose Add to Home Screen, then confirm.

Install on Android

1. Open ToolMill in Chrome or another supported Android browser.
2. Tap the browser menu and choose Install app or Add to Home screen.
3. Confirm the prompt to place ToolMill on your device.

If the install prompt does not appear

• Make sure you are on the live site over HTTPS.
• Visit at least one tool page so the app has fully loaded.
• Check your browser menu for Install app or Add to Home Screen.
• If you already installed ToolMill before, remove the old shortcut first and then try again.

Offline use

After the first successful load, ToolMill can cache core pages and assets for offline use. Some features still depend on your browser storage settings and cached data freshness.
